Yes cut atleast 2 inches but it really depends if your hair has really bad split ends.

I am a licensed hairdresser, yes you should get your ends trimmed to get rid of split ends. By keeping your ends trimmed, you keep your hair looking healthy, and the ends aren't dried out or tangle. The split ends keep splitting up the hairshaft causing breakage.

Regardless of what some products claim, nothing will repair a split end; they can coat it with something so it looks better, but your hair is damaged. The hair will continue to split farther up the shaft(or break off) unless you trim it.

Unfortunetly yes you do have to cut your hair. After that to keep split ends away for a long time use John Frieda Spilt Ends stuff i forget the name it is in a small tube bottle thing.

Nope!

If you already have splits, use a hair serum after you wash your hair, make sure it's for split ends or moisturises your hair. A haircut is the best idea, both for you hair and you wallet though! :P

To prevent the splits for next time, though, try styling your hair only every other day and don't brush it when it's wet!

According to my hair dresser, once the ends are split, they're split. Sorry to say, regular trims are the best solution.

Can I just say DUH!!! There is no way to repair split ends except for getting a hair cut, sure shampoos and conditioners claim that they can repair them, but think about this if you hair only grows from the roots and considered to be dead from your scalp to your ends then there is probably no way of fixing them.

yes, you need to get it cut. If you go too long it will split further up the hair.
