Its actually more common than you think, not everyone talks about it, your not crazy. There is a good book to read its "The imp of the mind" by Lee Baer, Ph.D. its about exploring the silent epidemic of obsessive bad thoughts. Maybe you should talk to your counseler and bring up the OCD thing. OCD isn't just counting and handwashing it comes in many different forms. And you would be amazed on how medication like paxil or effexor can relieve some of those thoughts your having. Good Luck!

You could have some sort of chemical imbalance happening in your brain. You should probably see a psychiatrist as they are trained as DOCTORS and as psychologists, so they would be best equipped to determine if you have some kind of disorder that requires medication. Probably with getting these chemicals properly balances your mind will be much clearer and you can focus your thoughts more positively. You do need to do something with yourself too so that you aren't always just "inside your own mind" so to speak. Get outside for a walk and some exercises. They release feel good chemicals to the brain.

Sounds like some power issues that you are having perhaps a major strengths in one area in your life and a major weaknesses in another. If you can afford to go to counselors, you must have enough know how to ask your wife or girlfriend for a little S&M. What ever you do just be straight up find out if they're in it to win or should you find another avenue to get the job done. know it's not wierd this is what you like, make it happen as long as you are the only one being abused here

i would def seek help from a psychiatrist or even talk to your doctor about this they can refer you to other doctors or medicate you if you need to be. everyone has bad thoughts about people. were human, but only you know if your in need of help, obviously you don't think your normal or why ask this question. im sorry you were abused as a child, i`ve been through this kind of abuse myself. it leaves scars that are hard to heal, even if you don't realize it. sometimes getting everything off your chest can be helpful, i once had anger bottled up inside for a long time and believe me it explodes after awhile and causes anxiety. i suffer from this myself. keep me posted. good luck

To be honest I'm not sure if there is a cure for "thoughts". I have this constant thought (among others) that everyone around me is full of poop. Literally, it's true but I don't want to think about that. It's silly.

You need to engage your thoughts into something useful. Like, find a job. Or a hobby. Or read a book. Or paint. Diversion is key. Focus on what you do.

I know what you mean I have the same thing. It's like you think about things you would never say or do and you are like no! I didn't mean it. If you are religious then just tell god you don't mean what you thought about and if you are sincere he will understand
