Actually it is NoroVirus, not Nora Virus

Nora isn't a virus, they are part of the CDC that researches diseases....National Occupational Research Agenda. Their priorities are things like Hep B and HIV that are generally spread in the workplace, esp hospitals.

It's a virus that involves vomitting and diarrhea, but it only lasts about 24 hours. My husband used to work in a hotel here in Miami, and the cruise ships had to emergency port because so many passengers had the nora virus...he wound up bringing it home and the entire family got it. You seem to throw up first, then have the diarrhea, but the 2 days later, you're back to normal. You could have food poisoning, or perhaps your ordinary, run of the mill gastrointestinal virus. They are common in the Spring and Fall (during the change of seasons).

This is what I found. I don't think you are talking about a virus called nora, but NORA is some sort of committe for occupational safety for healthcare workers against exposure to virulent germs, sort of how OSHSA protects workers in general?

Just heard it was a stomach virus that has been going around, last about 3 days like the flu.
It is going around in the schools bad.
