"Jibba" - People will not hate you because you have a low intellect. (Whoops. I didn't mean to say "you" have a low intellect.)
And the above sentence contains the first clue.

Second clue: Of all the Christians on this chat group who scream in my ear, they never seem to mention this particular sin. They act as if it is ok to commit this sin.

"Carolm" - Jesus never said that. In fact Jesus specifically, told us that confessing this sin would do you no good. Jesus was very clear: no ifs, no ands, and not buts.
Jesus was clear as a bell about this sin.
Third clue: Bubba Preachers never ever preach about this sin.

Dear "special" - when you finally think of the answer, it will very clear to you that there is "one" sin that qualifies for all three disasters.
4th Hint: If a Bubba Preacher ever preached a sermon on this subject, he would lose most of his congregation. Why? Why will come later in the 5th clue.

"steve T" -- I know what you mean. However, millions of people every year are divorced, and they don't really know why, until it is too late. Some people are hated by all their acquaintenances, and they don't know why. Or they don't care.
This question may seem as you said "silly", but wow! Try to guess it here, instead at divorce court or whereever.

"voice and sidwell" - the answer to this, when you think of it, will ring the bell and be just as clear- think, what one sin crosses all the boundaries - it wrecks marriages, it keeps you out of Heaven, and it will cause people to hate you.
Clue #5: It seems everyone thinks they have a right to commit this sin.

"voice" - Your preacher may have told you that no sin is number 1. Paul certainly told you that. However, Jesus insisted that confessing this sin does absolutely no good. (period)

I really think most people are missing the point. You asked, if I am correct what one sin can cause all the things you mentioned to happen. Frankly I have to say there isn't one. As one person stated blasphemy is unforgivable, and I'm sure most infidelity in marriage is forgivable unless it was done with a child which makes it molestation, which in turn will make some people hate you. But as long as breath is in your body and you have the ability and will to ask for and receive forgiveness from God and others. You may not be able to outlive your past or your sins, but you can outlast them. Grace and peace.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will keep you out of Heaven. Continue to harden your heart against God and His Word and you will end up in eternity without Him,as you chose, in Hell. The only sin/excuse,according to Jesus Christ and the rest of the Bible, for a marriage to end is adultery. As for what will make people hate you? Try being a true Christian who believes everything the Holy Bible teaches.

no sin, number one
what will wreck your marraige? not continuing to maintain the love between two people, somthing like putting gas in a car that must be done to keep it rolling, as well as real maintenance
harm is what I watch for, not sin. some feel sin is just not following god's law, but some command we harm or kill others and are justified through god...not about love just about who is right by might

All sins are forgiven by Jesus. being a lost soul will keep you out of heaven. If you are going somewhere with your posted question. Put it out there with the scriptures of what you are saying. Back up your post with the word of God instead of your personal opinion.
Blaspheming the Holy Ghost is the only sin that God will not forgive.
Those who hate what ever you are speaking of are not Christians because anyone who gates their brother is a murder in the eyes of God.
1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
So choose your posted questions carefully and back them up with the word of God.
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
If you are not careful, you may be guilty of this....
Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I am not married but I imagine there are many things that could wreck your marriage. It would depend on how strong the Marriage is and how good a liar you are. Oh you mean that. If you killed your husband of course. BB, Boop Oop A Doop!

Well, for the Catholics, it's divorce.
For Mormons, it's being sterile.
For Pentecostals, it's not having a singing voice for speaking in tongues.

This is a very good question. There could be many sins, and all these responses are good. Being addicted to pornography is one that could destroy and does destroy families everyday.
