Put a carmel sauce on custard. Same thing. But if you want the authentico, check out the ethnic foods section at the market. They have a jello pudding style flan in the market. I love flan too!

If you are looking for the type of flan that comes in a box like Jell-o u can find it most grocery stores in the latin isle .Or u can make this one is called flan napolitano really yummy and easy to make .
one can of nestle sweetened condensed milk
one can of nestle Carnation evaporated milk
and 3 eggs
beat everything together, put it in a oven container and bake it for 10 to 15 minutes at 350. Just like a cake stick a tooth pick to check if is done, if it comes out clean is done let it cool down .Then serve and enjoy ;).

Many mexican restaurants sell flan. I even saw flan for sale at Costco once, though it was so huge I didn't buy it.

if you live anywhere near whittier, ca they sell the best flan at a bakery on the corner of leffingwell rd. and meyer rd. que rico!
