Does anyone know of any chihuahua breeders in central florida? I live in Apopka. Or anyone that is selling them even if it is a mixed breed?

you can adopt a chihuahua from a rescue organization or group in your state. there are several i found which i listed below, all of which you can locate near your area. these chihuchuas have been given up to the rescue group because their owners are unable to care for them anymore so they need folks to adopt them.
the rescue organizations in the country are non-profit groups that rescue animals and find homes for them. all they charge you is the cost of the shots and what it cost them to care for the dog. they care for the dogs, train them and prepare them to go to good homes.
we just got two great pyranees a month ago and these dogs are the sweetest and most wonderful dogs. the rescue organization helped us pick our dogs and brought them to our home. they are all volunteers so they really care for these animals and treat them with such affection.

Do a search of: Chihuahua Rescue, Florida. Now that they are not as popular as they used to be, people are just dumping the poor guys everywhere. There should be a local Chihuahua rescue group in your area where you can adopt a little guy (or girlie) in need. Most groups have all ages because some people even dump the pregnant ones. Thinking back on the life he's led, your new dog will love you that much more...

I got my little one two years ago from a lady near me in Myakka... in Manatee county. If you need more info, I am on yahoo messanger. DO NOT get one at a pet store, go to a reputable breeder.

Check your local newspaper and there might be some pets for sale and if you don't find any then go to the SPCA or a pet store
