OK can a guy change?

Question

Ok heres the deal. I broke up with my bf because he told me when we started dating that he didnt want to get married or even have kids. ( things that are important to me later in life) So i thought i could change. But later realize 6 months later that i cant. Well we've been broken up for a month now and says that he can change if thats what keeps me in his life. Now is it possible for a guy to change so rapidly like that or he feeding me bull to just get me back and string me along as long as possible?

A person can only change if they reallly want to. If you love him and want to give things a second chance you should first have a good long talk with him. Make sure that he knows your position and expectations and they are not negotionable. Then he has to be able to assure you that he may be open to those things you want, maybe just not now. But, even with that you have to make sure that he can't use that as an excuse to put it off indefenitely. Untill he can make gradual commitments towards the same goals you have I would not take what he says too seriously.
Take baby steps, but if he's definite about what he wants there is nothing really you can do about it, except cut your losses.

It sounds like you guys are moving too fast.i but can understand by seeing goals u have to have in common to balance the realtionship out. I know its a pain in the butt! about guys..but mainly nobody can change,unless they really want too..Guys are tricky and i fell for some of it and im sure millions of other girsl have too..Let me tell you one thing! Verbal does not Mean 1 thing until it is proven by someone. A women has a womenly instinct and its a motherly instinct to have kids. that will never fade because it gets stronger feeling inside until she has kids. A guy, well.. he can change his mind alot..and plus he cna say alot just to egt u where he wants you..its not good to plan so much for the future in a reltaionship because its moving to fast and it may scared the other person..etc.. Yes he will most likely change in fact. A lot of the time guys say that because they're immature, want to be free and wild their whole life. However, when he does find the one he will WANT to setllte down and probably want kids. . not all people want kids so there is the chance that'll not change however

Ha ha ha.. wow.. never expect a guy to change for someone else.. they have to want to do it for themselves..

Thats why smokers who say they are quitting for there wives/husbands... usually fall short. Because when it comes down to it, its all about self motivation rather then motivation through others..

Besides, How would feel if you got married, and are pregnant with your child, and he decides that he doesnt want this route after all???

Basically if he is Normally a lier hes probally lying.
If hes almost alway honest hes probally telling the truth.
There is a chance you are more important to him then his single life
now he has been made to think about it.
Or he could be just lying again.
