It seems like Christians always say the same ol Cliche, "I'll pray for you". In other words leave me alone. It doesn't seem like God really cares about anyone.

Wrong! God cares deeply about everyone who has ever lived and who will ever live on Earth. So much so that, even if you were the only human on Earth, He would still have sent His Son,Jesus Christ, to pay the price for sin on your behalf-John:3:16 Please, if you need some more info or guidance in this area, do not hesitate to click on my name and email me a message. I will be more than happy to answer any questions I can or direct you to where you can find them. God loves you more than you know, and as a Christian I love you in Christ. God Bless my friend

I will answer the last statement first. I try not to ever say "how are you or I will pray for you" Unless I intend to wait for an answer or truly pray. Ask yourself this. Having shared a concern with a friend would you really like them to put their hand on you or simply say "let’s pray right now" I have had that happen to me and it is awkward, but really nice.

Now, how to know Jesus is real. I have heard it quoted, though I have not researched it, that there is more proof to Jesus' existence than Napoleon. Josephus is a common place to find the mentioning of Jesus out side of the Bible. But, the real question is how you can know Jesus IS the Christ. That does take faith. The first step would be to figure out if you believe in the Old Testament. If you answer "I believe" let us call you a Jew for the moment. Now, look at the references to the Messiah and compare them to Jesus. If you believe they are true and fit you are now a Christian, but it is tricky because you have to believe the accounts of the New Testament so of course you should conclude Jesus is the Messiah, but how can you know? Read the New Testament and see if it rings true to you. Can you see the wisdom of that lifestyle set forth inside? We believe the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to the earnest seeker. But, having read it and not believed you are still a Jew.

Now, if you did not believe the Old Testament you then have to decide. Do I believe there is a higher power? If no you are an Atheist. If you do believe but are not sure what you are Agnostic. If you read the Koran, etc and you believe in that you will be one with them.

As a Christian I will simply say (and yes it is a cliché) "Seek and ye shall find!"

I have a lot of ways to answer this. First of all "I'll pray for you" does not mean leave me alone, it means that they WILL pray for you. Next, you need to have some belief that Jesus Christ is real. If you don't have the little belief that he is real, then you might as well believe in satin and Hell. hear is a LOT of info.

Unique Historical Accuracy
The historical accuracy of the Scriptures is likewise in a class by itself, far superior to the written records of Egypt, Assyria, and other early nations. Archeological confirmations of the Biblical record have been almost innumerable in the last century. Dr. Nelson Glueck, probably the greatest modern authority on Israeli archeology, has said:

"No archeological discovery has ever controverted a Biblical reference. Scores of archeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or in exact detail historical statements in the Bible. And, by the same token, proper evaluation of Biblical descriptions has often led to amazing discoveries."

Scientific Accuracy

Another striking evidence of divine inspiration is found in the fact that many of the principles of modern science were recorded as facts of nature in the Bible long before scientist confirmed them experimentally. A sampling of these would include:

Roundness of the earth (Isaiah 40:22)

Almost infinite extent of the sidereal universe (Isaiah 55:9)

Law of conservation of mass and energy (II Peter 3:7)

Hydrologic cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7)

Vast number of stars (Jeremiah 33:22)

Law of increasing entropy (Psalm 102:25-27)

Paramount importance of blood in life processes (Leviticus 17:11)

Atmospheric circulation (Ecclesiastes 1:6)

Gravitational field (Job 26:7)

and many others.
These are not stated in the technical jargon of modern science, of course, but in terms of the basic world of man's everyday experience; nevertheless, they are completely in accord with the most modern scientific facts.

It is significant also that no real mistake has ever been demonstrated in the Bible -- in science, in history, or in any other subject. Many have been claimed, of course, but conservative Bible scholars have always been able to work out reasonable solutions to all such problems.

A lot of Christians are immature, maybe lacking experience to help you with your problems. It would be good if you prayed to ask God to reveal His Son to you, read the gospels, found a good church where people showed you the love of Christ in action through their life together. You may not know it now but God really does care about each one of us.

about your question: Why don't you read some of the eyewitness accounts? (that would be almost anywhere in the New Testament)

about your comment - what Christians do or say, does not always reflect on what God does or is like . . .

You will always find unkind people . . . it is the nature of the human. Keep looking . . . I know it can seem ruff but everyone has to do it!

Jesus is real he was born to mary. You have to believe in your heart on your own that he was the christ. There is historical evidence of Jesus. Do some research. There are many books, look on the web or try the history channel.

the faith a person has and excericises will determine the joy of God when he answers your prayers.
I prayed to learn how to pray and turned on the tv, there was a minister teaching the lords prayer
i prayed to receive the gif tof prophecy, and was visited with an unseen spirit and saw visions and was taught doctrines of a special kind.
i prayed again and lo and behold a vision of jesus christ came to me.
by far these are not the only answers to prayer i have received, but they are the most notable ones.

except this question became written by skill of you together as subconscious, it style of feels you have already responded your individual question! of course the Triune and Holy God is genuine! there is not any question. The Holy Spirit is the component of God that facilitates people who carry on with the want of God the suitable they are in a position to do basically that. The Holy Spirit interior believers strengthens the experience of right and incorrect and works to drag non believers in direction of the certainty of salvation! There actually isn't something greater easily genuine which could be depended on in this international than the Holy Spirit!

Religion is based upon belief, not proof. However, per religious text, Jesus died and his soul rose to Heaven. In this aspect, he is no longer real (if he existed at all).

I stated earlier that religion is based upon belief; there are people of this world who have nothing better to believe in, i.e. themselves, and it feels better to be amongst an entire population who feels something than it is to be alone or in the minority.

By-the-way, people have also misused/represented the word "christian". A christian is one who lives like Christ. If we're to go on all of the premises of Jesus, then there is no one who could live like him, ergo: no such thing as a christian.

I like being a spiritualist (not advocating) because I live to love me, to love all, not because someone wrote it but because it feels right...that's from my inner spirit, not from the Book of...
