i had a boy friend who broke up with me a year ago and just today a mutual friend told me that my ex wanted me to call him. the friend said that he had told him about my older boyfriend and my ex sounded worried and said that he never should have borken up with me and i was a nice girl. but the thing is he dumped me when i was suicidal over the phone why all the sudden does he care about me now? it cant be jealousy because ive had other boyfriends between him and who im with now

Wow sounds like one of my Ex relationships, not to sound mean or anything. But I too have delt with my ex's saying they wanted to take there lives.. (Why do you girls do that?? )
Anyways, away from that topic, cause thats not what you asked to begin with. Personally I would say that he cares about you, but at the same time I think maybe he realizes that you might have changed from the person you once were, to wanting to be with someone new. Most guys do this, in fact I have done it as well. Maybe it's remembering all the good times, but when it comes down to it, it ends up turing out bad at the end..
For guys: we tend to live off the past... old emotions... Memories.. and we feel that maybe, just maybe, we can have that once again with the same person that we knew before..
Talk to him, but I wouldnt make any effort to want to try something new.. Stay with the guy your with, grow as a person... and if you ever have thoughts about wanting to take your life, think about getting some help..

Maybe it's not true. Just because other people are telling you that he wants you back doesn't make it true. You have to hear it from him to believe it. Since you've already be his girlfriend, can't you just ask him what the deal is instead of random people on Yahoo! Answers? We don't know anything about him, so it's impossible for us to know what it means.

Ignore the your ex. he ain't worth your time. Dont follow up on him cause when you needed him most he left you. If you get back together maybe i will leave you alone to fall off a building. He is a loser

it might realize what a good catch you were and shouldn't have let you go in the first place, but he should realized it a lot sooner....he might just want to use you...I'd be leery...Don't believe everything you hear from everyone. Trust your gut....and your heart.
