I know bad guys use it for making meth, but does this mean it's now illegal in California. I have not been able to get a straight answer from any store other than they don't carry it anymore. Can I buy it in other states and legally have it in California? How about with a perscription?

Sudafed is a brand name and they have reformulated their product to not have any Pseudoephed any more.

No its not illegal but in order to purchase it now you have to go straight to the pharmacist, sign their "book" with name address and phone number. I purchase pseudofedrine quite frequently (crappy sinuses), I can't take the new stuff they use because it does nothing for my problems So I pretty much know the "drill" I do feel that eventually they will go for presritiption on the drug...it used to be by script only years ago why they changed it to otc is anybody's guess
