AHHHHH! Okay... So my BFF introduced me to this guy and he is SSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOO cute. Well, I started to like him and she knew. But then I stopped liking him when I went out w/ my boyfriend, but when I dumped him, I started liking him again.... Well now she likes him. I told her I don't like him, but I have a HUUUGGGEEE crush on him, it's not even funny....well bad news, he just started liking me. I was so exited, I haven't told my friend. She's supppeeerrr sensitive, so if we DID go out, we would never be friends again, and also, she would ruin my life. What do I do?????? HELLLPPPP! Do I ask him out? (he is scared to make the 1st move. hes kinda shy)

You need to decide if you value this guy or your friendship more. Which ever one you can honestly say is more important to you is where you should spend your energy...

Remember - Guys will come and go -but friends will last a lifetime!

Girl you should never date your best friends ex boyfriend. Boyfriends come and go but you only get one chance to keep a best friend. If you tell her you may as well kiss your friendship good-bye. You are better off leaving him alone to find someone different other than you or your friend no matter how cute the guy is. I will tell you the same thing I always tell my own daughter, get your education before the boys come along. Most boys want 1 thing and 1 thing only.

No! A virtuous woman would never date a friends guy. No matter how much she wanted to. The very act of not doing what she wants to do so badly is what makes her virtuous.

Ok, now lets be honest. That was my opinion for most of my life till 22 years old. Now 29 I'm so happy I broke my vow. Only once in my life did I date the guy my friend liked or was with and he left her for me, married me and is still with me and happier than he has ever been. I am his fantasy and he is my dream. I was lucky but most women are not so lucky. I knew he wanted me and he says he didn't know I wanted him but he asked me because he loved me. To this day he still loves me and looks forward to waking up next to me each day. He is more than I thought I wanted and everything I need whether I know it or not. If you have that for this guy then move forward, if not do not do it.

Ok, most people are going to say friendships last forever. Not true! This is no more true than boyfriends last forever. It is up to you to decide to do what is best for you or what makes you happy most. Yes, you should consider being faithful where you love someone. If you love your friend, then do not hurt her just for lust. But if you know you have something with this guy do not pass it up just to keep her from hurting. Everyone is repsonsible for how they feel no matter what caused what they feel. You are not responsible for your friends feelings and how they handle life you are only responsible for you!

I would say that sometimes you need to put others first.I had this happen to me and I never told her how I felt about that guy because she liked him. There was always something there and I can't tell her. My friends always come first and I wouldn't do anything to hurt her. I would suggest that you let it go and since he doesn't like her you need to wait for her to get over this crush and when she is then go for it! Either that or tell her the truth. Secrets don't make friends.

Boys come and boys go (sorry guys, same applies to females), but if she is your BFF, forget the boy. You still have a couple more years to find another one, I'm assuming.

ALWAYS friends before guys. However, if she'd get upset over something like that and never talk to you again... she isn't much of a friend now, is she?
