What are some good ideas that would help promote a club in a school?

1. hold a membership ralley that includes giving away food.
2. have existing members wear something that separates them from everyone else (e.g., a hat, t-shirt, arm band, colored gym shoes, etc.)
3. Get a teacher to be your club sponsor
4. Put a plug in for your club during the morning PA announcements
5. Poster campaign that tells the students "what's in it for them" if they join.
6. Get a half dozen or more of the more attractive girls in your school to wear t-shirts that advertises your club.

Well, first you must know who are the people that want to join the club? If they are shool boys&girls target those people.

You find those people online usually, so you can for example visit myspace.com and create a group about your shool club. You can also post in other groups related to clubs.

Same way there are the Google Groups. You can also take a video, upload it to youtube, myspace, google vidoes and in the end of the video promote the club!

Have you thought about starting a blog and inviting all of your classmates to come to it and place their information articles etc on it. This way you will develop your club and be able to keep them up to date.
