You need to disinfect the house and then also give your cat a bath with flea shampoo. Then have your cat wear a flea collar or flea medicine until your house is rid of them. You have to get them out of the house for your cat to stay flea free.

Go online and get some Advantage for your cat, I ;have 8 cats all are given Advantage once a month. My house has no fleas. Within 24 hours most if not all of the fleas will die once your cat is treated.SLP

You really should get a monthly remedy for her (frontline/advantage) and keep up with it. ALSO, if your cat has fleas, you will most likely need de-worming medication. Fleas cause tapeworms. All it takes is for the cat to eat one and then it starts. It's best to treat even if you haven't seen a segment of the worm on your cat's fur. Bottom line, talk to your vet and get on a flea prevention regimen, it's really the best thing to do. Good luck.

go buy a flea dip or collar. Both are not as immediate as taking her to a vet for a dip but they both will work just fine. Also if it is an outdoor cat she should have a flea collar on anyway just in case.

WELL, YOU CANT GET THIS CHEAP FLEA MEDICINE AT WALMART OR TARGET AND YOU JUST PUT IT ON HER NECK ONCE A MONTH AND....BAM!....THE FLEAS GO AWAY COMPLETELY! I GAVE IT TO MY CAT AND SHE HAS BEEN FLEA FREE EVER SINCE!!! PLUS, YOU DONT HAVE TO APPLY IT EVERY MONTH, IT IS JUST IN CASE YOU WANT TO BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS.
