I make my own bread and I usually bake it on a cookie sheet. But it turns out to be out of form and I wonder what would be the best pan to bake my bread in. Ideas?

If you can work a way to transfer the risen loaf try a
preheated cast iron skillet or Dutch oven (preheat both the oven and the Dutch oven and leave covered for 1/2 the bake time) or a pizza
stone...very cool texture and good rise.

the round glass (pyrex) tube loaves are pretty neat.

cookie sheet is ok if you make long, thin baguettes

You need a nice set of loaf pans. They are a rectangular pan sold in a few different sizes (8" to about 15" long). You get a nice loaf shape and they are not costly. At Walmart, they're about $5-$8 dollars each. 2 should do just fine. Happy baking!!
