My mother is part of a christian cult, and I am not part of it, I'm a pagan/wiccan. I'm almost 18 but she's been so abusive and all to me, what should i do to make her realize what she's doing is wrong? (no haters please)

Okay for the record, the way my mother is being abusive, is she beats me often, and verbally abuses me too, aka, calling me stupid, *****, whore, hell demon, etc. etc. And her christian cult is one that takes the bible literally, as in if the bible said an arm for an arm they'd treat you that way.

I can't say I've been in your shoes, but I can say that I know your mom is a hypocrite, and she is definitely setting the example for you.
Ask her if Jesus would be abusing you like she does. That should convict her..
Just don't let one person effect your opinion of a multitude of Christians... It hurts me to see a world where people can be such hypocrites even to thier own families.
Leave as soon as you can, and get some of your true friends to help you out.
What do you mean by Christian cult?
Above all things, remember this: The arm of Jesus is never too short to help you out of a hole in life.
Whether you do this or not, Jesus will always love you. I'm sure you've had this shoved down your throat, so it's very understandable. I respect your beliefs.

Don't flaunt your paganism in front of her. You're almost 18, so just wait until you are. Then seek to make your own life for yourself and leave the christian cult behind.
Avoid confrontations. You'll not change her mind any more than she'll change yours.
Consider that for your Mom, what she is doing is not wrong. She is trying to 'save' you. I don't agree with christian cults but am looking at it from her perspective.
Emancipate yourself. Leave home as soon as you can.

18 is the age of majority...get out on your own and live your life the way you want to. That's the best way to get away from abuse and having to respect someone else's house and belongings.
When you are living on your own, what you do in your private time and space is your business.
If you don't believe what your mother believes, thats your personal decision not your mom's. Parents do have an influence on their children's spiritual decisions, sometimes positive and sometimes negative....its your soul at stake not hers..move out.

Being a Christian, I have studied many christian cults and barbaric practices, while I don't condone your beliefs there is no reason for abuse. If your life is in danger get out. You may never change her mind.

Not much. Religion can screw a person up pretty throughly. I am sure that you can think of several examples of people killing or dieing for it. And Christians don't have a good history dealing with your kind.
I would suggest you leave as fast as possible when you are 18, or call the cops right now.

Well if she is physically abusive to you that is not right. Maybe she is not wrong in her beliefs, but you are not wrong either. Parents have a hard time accepting their child's beliefs if they are not the parents beliefs. Don't try and make her realize she is wrong, just accept her and eventually she will accept you. Try not to flaunt your beliefs...i.e. the makeup, that may be a little too much.

My mother became a religious fanatic (Christian) when I converted to Judaism. She was horrid to me for the rest of her life. I do not think there is anything you can do about it.
Hold out a little longer----you will be grown very soon, and can get out.

Run Away. Any mother that treats their child like that doesn't deserve one. This may be a scary thing to do, run away from home, but its a must if your treated like that. You deserve to live freely. Tell her why you are leaving. Then leave. Its your only chance of living freely and healthy. Good luck.

U r adult enough not to take that kind of a pressure. Convince her and make her believe that u do have an ability to think, in a polite manner.
