what is the longest lasting, cheapest, and most reliable type of battery for a kodak c875 camera. it accepts AA lithium or ni-mn, crv3 lithium, or ni-mh rechargable.

Also, seems like a dumb question but regular alkaline AA Duracell batteries wouldn't work would they?

when you buy ni-mh rechargable
make sure they say 2500 or 2700 on the side

You're best choice is the rechargeable NiMh CRV3 batteries. Of course, other might say that the actual CRV3 LiOn non-rechagables ones are better because the camera is a high drain device. For me, I look for convenience and it all depends how critical the situation's shot is. If its a wedding and my neck is on the line to get the best pics, I would not go for the rechargeable, unless I'm using another camera and I have someone else switch the batteries at my command. If its just regular shooting, the rechargeable batteries pay for themselves in no time, and in some ways "force" us to take more pictures. That way you will have that "great" shot that everyone will call you a hero for capturing. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you and your photography. Go Digital!!!

crv3 lithium last longer when taking pictures and has a longer life.
