My two kittens have been sneezing and one has a little eye discharge (it's NOT yellow or green). They're running around and playing fine. Do they have a cold? If so, what do I do? Could it be allergies? I've had them a week and they didn't seem sick when I got them. I do have two other cats, but they're in good health.

sounds like they have an upper respiratory infection..similar symptoms like those of a human cold...usually sneezing, runny nose, runny eyes, etc. They need to see a vet and will probably be put on some antibiotics. They can pass this to your other cats...keep them separated so they a don't all end up sick. Make sure and vaccinate them as well. Have they been leukemia tested? You do not want to expose your healthly cats to illness. Always be careful about bringing new cats into a home that there are already pets in.

It would be unusual to have two kittens with the same allergy so I am sure they are sick. You need to separate them from your healthy cats immediately! What your cats have is very contagious to other cats (dogs too). It is a cold and is normally called "kennel cough". The best thing to do is take them to the vet and get them on some antibiotics before it gets worse. If they are tiny, they can die from it if it goes untreated. Make sure you wash your hands after touching them. Contact with your healthy pet's noses can give them the infection.

Take them to the vet ASAP. If they were vaccinated adult cats, I would not be worried, but kittens exhibiting these signs could have been exposed to Distemper before you gave them their Distemper shots. Distemper is not a death sentence anymore. If you can nurse them through the respiratory phase with anitbiotics and cough medicine, they can possibly avoid the neurological phase. If they do start to exhibit neurological symptoms it can be painful and their chances are slim, so it is kinder to put them to sleep then. Even if your adult cats did not have distemper, you or they can carry it in from outside after being exposed to other cats, so if the kittens were not vaccinated, they could have gotten it that way, as well.

i would take the sneezing ones the the vet. not as a emergency. But, it may be good to see wat is wrong. all cats sneeze but they shouldn't be sneezing constantly.

Good luck =)
