You wouldn't be a very good person if you didn't. I've got a friend who just got sentenced to 20 years in jail after wrecking his car and killing his best friend while on drugs. I do hold some of the blame for not taking the initiative to help him.

Yes, for their well-being. However, report it to someone who can help the person, rather than punish them. Doing drugs, though possibly enjoyable, comes with an extremely high price to the user. Intervention and addressing the underlying issues that would cause this person to make a self-destructive choice is very important. Once a person starts doing drugs, their judgment becomes distorted.

Unless you catch them in the act there is not much you can do. If you know they are using and can report them to the police while they are under the influence and with the drugs in their possession then yes report them.

Yes !!! They need help. Wonder if they over dosed one day how bad and guilty you would feel if you could have helped them by reporting it. Caring people look out for one another, that's a true loving friend. You could do it anonymously if you don't want people to find out it was you.

You should confront them with their guardian present and suggest they seek help. Do it kindly as a friend who cares not as a ha ha you're in trouble. If you don't know or cant talk to the parents then seek a councilor at school. You will provide a bigger chance they will get help if you do it kindly.

absolutely! they might end up killing them selves or hurt others. If someone dies because you wanted to ignore a problem, well you'll have to live with the guilt
