Well the name of the company says it all. Its in their Terms and Conditions and it states: "CheapoAir.com shall not be liable for failure of travel service suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, steamship lines, railroads, car rental agencies, tour operators and consolidators to perform the services offered by such suppliers. CheapoAir.com, in providing travel management services, does not guarantee or insure the services to be provided by any supplier, "
This will show everyone who reads this, and Ive been saying in every answer I answer....READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE PURCHASING. This website is a sham and if you go to the bottom you notice that not one of the companies linked is the Better Business Bureau.
Legally you have no recourse. You're stuck with a fare you cant use. It's outlined in their T&C that they dont guarantee that the travel provider will even accept the reservation that you book. You can call your credit card company and explain the situation and request to block payment, but then Cheapoair.com will persue collection.
Travel sites are 3rd party, they are not directly related or linked to the airlines. Anyone can advertise cheap or discount, but it always comes at a cost. Not only do 3rd party sites charge booking fee's they are normally more expensive. Ive ALWAYS found better deals on the airlines website directly. Use the travel sites for the convenience of comparing the airlines prices. Then go directly to the airlines website. Sometimes they run sales that are not posted with the travel sites.
Contact Cheapoair and raise every kind of tantrum you can. They will refund you once you pay a penalty. But if you go and read the T&C they are not liable.
Hopefully next time you will do your research and go directly with the airline.

Its what you should NOT have done!!!
NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER in the world buy a ticket from those cheap sites!!!!!
ALWAYS buy from the Airline office, Airlines website or a CERTIFIED travel agent!!!!
That is the only way to garentee your seat although sometimes there are glitches in the systems.
When you buy from a "El Cheepos" site, you only have a 30-50% chance of your ticket being on the computer.
When you buy from the airline website, airline office or the travel agent, your flight will be on the system 99.999999% of the time!
Airlines will not use Yahoo travel and Expidia as a excuse even if you have proof of bookings. But if you buy your ticket on the airlines website for example, they may let you on the next flight if there was a glitch as you had proof of buying the ticket from the Airline DIRECTLY!!!
Hope this helps. If it sounds confusing, you made me confused for that BIG BIG mistake you made. Now you have lernt your lession!!

Immediatly contact your credit card company. Provide names of people, if possible, who would not accept the ticket. The credit card company has the power to fully refund your money.

I've used expedia.com, travelocity.com, and orbitz.com without any problems.
