Most likely your convergence is drifting, a situation which develops when heat cycling of the guns causes slight shifting and thus degrading picture quality.
Luckily the problem is easily solved and simply involves a convergence alignment, something accomplished via the sets user menu and your remote control. You should consult your owners manual for the procedure as it varies from one manufacturer to the next but regardless it's a simple procedure involving nothing more than lining up a simple grid pattern on screen using your remote.
Of course you may have a 'Magic Focus' type instant setting but I'd still recommend a full manual convergence adjustment due to it's being more precise and thus yielding a finer picture. So go and check your manual for the words CONVERGENCE SETTING and give it a shot, it's simple as well as fun Good luck and happy viewing.

Most Light bulbs in projection TVs go to half brightness at about 1000 hours.
So, it may be time to replace it.
