Yes, the United States has not risked this much in millitary assets for over 30 years. We are pulling a lot of troops in the volatile middle east, and we are staring down some of the most dangerous country's in the modern world. It is true we are not at the brink of nuclear war like we were in the cold war or the India-Pakistan stand off, but we are pretty damn close to a large scale conventional and unconventional warfare. Imagine the carnage that would erupt from air sorties over Iran, or a massive arab war over Iraq.

Americans and Brits are the only country that see this as a millatry action not a Holy War(WW3).
