i bouguht sum cuz i have spacers.. it numbs parts of my mouth...
but not my gums..
and then the numbing goes away from my tongue and lips..
i got oraljel maximum strength!
anyone know what im ding wrong??
first i tried with my fingerr and now right from the ttube in my mout h...
help?!

THE REASON WHY THE ORAJEL DOESN'T WORK IS BECAUSE THIS IS NOT WHAT IT'S MADE FOR. THE PAIN YOU FEEL IS FROM THE TEETH NOT THE GUMS.THE BEST THING TO TAKE IS SOME PAIN MEDS FOR PAIN, LIKE IBUPROFEN. ASK YOR ORTHODONTIST.

I have spacers too and orajel is not gonna help. Take some tylanol or advil. Your teeth are being shoved around by the roots and the orajel cant get to there .

it numbs whatever you touch with the orajel.just try a Q top to put in inbetween your spacers.

call your dentist he can probably prescribe a rinse for you to use.
