First exfoliate and always be sure that you wash your face and hands well afterwards so you do not spread acne bacteria from one place to another place! Also make certain you rinse with the coldest water you can handle. Follow up with a good ph balancing toner if you have one. If you don't... believe it or not, milk works wonders! Then be sure to use a non oily preferably gel moisturizer, then keep your hands off of your face. If you have red spotting from trauma to the skin from a really bad blemish, then it might be good to invest in a daily vitamin complex serum. A really good one is Nicole Miller's. This will also lighten dark circles under the eyes! Eat good and take a multi-vitamin, drink lots of water!

if you have Visene, some of that on a Q-tip applied to the pimples you popped will make the redness go away and swelling go down. It might sound weird, but it really does work. I read that somewhere in a magazine quite a while back and that's what I do when I have to pop one every now and then!

Dont pop your pimples cause they will spread and will scar. Use a on - the - spot treatment for bumps just never pop them though.

When you try to squeeze out a pimple, some or most of it spreads right next door - potentially forming more pimples. Think of it as a volcano with underground rivers. Don't pop them, let them live their life.

DONT use salt, I am pretty sure that will make it worse

Clearasil Ultra Acne Clearing Scrub is the best face cleaner and you will see a difference the FIRST TIME you use it. it takes away redness and its guaranteed to clear up your skin in 3 days so if it dont work (WHICH I DOUBT) you get your money back

Try ice or a cold compress to relieve the redness and swelling. If you have a lot of problems with acne, I have heard good things about Pro-Activ.

Popping pimples is bad for you... you can get scars where they used to be. Makeup is bad for your complexion. Ice is good. Cleaning your face twice a day is good. Talk to your dermatolagist.

Odds are if you popped them tonight, the swelling would be down by morning. Makeup only creates more zits.

you should try clean and clear persa gel. it works really really well! or, if you want to go for a more natural route, teatree oil and lavender are both healing. if you go anywhere essential oils are sold, you can find it, and you don't need much, just put the combination on your fingers, and apply where needed. it won't dry/oil your face out. :o)
