Check the AV cables that run from you PS2 to your TV. Maybe one of them are loose??
That's the only thing I can think of.

I would consult your owners manual. There will be instructions on proper hook up. If your hook up is good then I would check to see that your TV is set on the proper input settings, if you don't know what those are look in your TV manual. If you are using a component input make sure that the yellow prong is properly plugged in. If your tv doesn't have a component input then you need to get a diffrent cable because there is no place to accept a digital signal. I wish I could be of more help but I would really need more info.

there is an audio and video cable that goes from the ps2 to the tv...make sure you have plug them into the correct places on your tv...either of your manuals ps2 or tv will show you where the audio and video channels are positioned. if that is correct then make sure there is a good connection ...plugged in far enough, snug fit. also try and unplug the tv from the wall and plug it back on to reset the ps2 as another option...usually there is a trouble shooting guide in the back of the manuals also..good luck

well i have XBOX, but it could be the same problem i had.
It wouldnt work on my tv, but i tried on another with different cords (yellow, white, red) and it worked.
SO, try either on another tv, or get new cords.
if it still doesnt work, it might be the PS2, but im pretty sure you can send it in for free to get it fixed (i also have PS2 but its broken)
*make sure the cords are in the right spot*
*hoped that works and KEEP ON PLAYING!

maby you don't put the yellow, red and white cables in right. You half to make them color cordinate with the imput of your tv like yellow wire to yellow hole. If that dosent work your tv has somthing wrong with it.
