A good way? I know the best way, it's when you don't do it at all. If you want it done, spend the money to get it some and get some sea salt or some H2Ocean and keep it clean. Do not do it your self! This isn't HG TV. Save up some money and ask your Mommy nicely if she'll take you to a good, clean local tattoo and piercing place. It's not that much money, and you can have allot of problems if you do it your self. And another thing, while I'm still here, if you get it done and it gets infected (you have a higher risk if you DIY) do not take it out until the infection is cleared up. You don't want the piercing to close up with a nasty infection in it, because BAD things may, and probably will, happen. Take care, don't do it your self.

Your mouth contains saliva, spit on a microscope slide then have a look under the scope if you like what you see GO FOR IT, because soon after you make that unhygenic hole thats what your entire blood stream will be full of, allthough I have never died from septicemia, im told its not a nice way to die. DON'T. Tongue piercings are HORRIBLE when infected, an the only way to practically ensure infection is by doing it yourself! And unless you have proper piercing needles, you will be giving your tongue blunt force trauma because ou're simply stabbing away with it. Professional piercing needles are hollow and remove a chunk of skin; safety pins or whatever you'd be using are EXTREMELY dangerous.

NEVER DO IT YOURSELF! okay so once i saw these 2 guys get their tongues pierced by their friend, she took the barbell and stabbed it through, looked fine right! No, because it wasn't a sterile environment, they both got infections and had to go to the emergency room, they're lucky to still have their tongues. Pay the 40 dollars and get it done professionally!

There is not a "good" way. You will regret it. You may as well spend the money to have it professionally done. For one you don't run the risk of it getting infected, for two it is just safer all around. You run a serious chance of damaging your tongue. If you are not old enough, JUST WAIT!!

as a piercer and the son of a doctor, don't do it! are you crazy? the tongue piercing isnt even cool anymore. if you are a guy, you will look like a sissy. and if you are a girl, guess what! guys can't even feel the difference down there! come on. get it done by a pro or don't do it at all. infection, uncontrolled bleeding, slips, passing out. i have seen it all, and i do it for a living. don't risk it!

see a professional before you puncture a vein and end up in the emergency room, due to excessive bleeding....I mean seriously THINK....pierce your own tongue, how dumb does that sound.....you think you can just jab a sewing needle in your tongue and then u got a piercing? umm no. Spend the $20-30 dollars and go see a piercer before you end up in the hospital.
