about 8 months ago i was living in washington state - off myspace i met a guy that lived in the city and state i was about to move to. the day after i moved he came to see me. since then he has told me he does have feelings for me and does like me and wants to try and presue a realitionship with be but wants to get to know me - it took him about 5-6 month to kiss me and about 6-7 months for us to "play". as of today NO SEX has happened - he also has told me he does have other feelings for another girl also. he is a very sweet great looking man that is a real yes i said real gentleman- i asked him today if he would be my valentine and he said he wants to think about it. please dont tell me to grab him and throw him in bed and be agressive - i am a very shy person and am not able to do that. i am as agressive with him as i possibly can be and be comfortable with it. what do i do and what do you think is going on?

If he has to "think" about it then he is waiting to see if the other girl he likes will be HIS Valentine. Usually when guys want something they don't "wait" for it. If he's telling you to wait then that means he knows you'll wait for him. You shouldn't be waiting around for him and you should DEFINITELY not throw him into bed! If you're not sure that he has feelings for you then hold off. You shouldn't wait for someone who isn't willing to give you a definite answer. I'm not saying blow him off completely, but keep your options open! He's playing the field and you should too. Go on other dates and see if he really is worth waiting for. What will you do if he chooses the other girl? To use a cliche "Don't put all your egss in one basket." Meaning, what if he doesn't want to be your Valentine? All your "eggs" would be crushed! So likewise, don't invest all your feelings into a person who is so ambiguous. Keep your eyes open to other people and to him. Hope this helps!

Well sweetie I am going to say this as nice as I possibly can, the fact that you still want him to be your valentine even after he told you that he has feelings for someone else shows that you don't care. He's just not that into you babe. If someone likes you like you like them then he would have said yes or no. But the fact that he would wait to give you an answer is telling me that he is just waiting around until the person he really wants asks him or he has a chance to ask them. So I wouldn't wait around for him, get over, move on and find another Valentine. My sisters friend just had the same problem, she was going out with this guy, she told him sh e loved him he started acting funny. She asked him whether he wanted to be with her or not he told her that he'd tell her after his birthday, a month later, he tells her that he just thinks they should be friends. Never wait for a man, never wait for anyone. They don't have time to come around. Either they have feelings for you or they don't. You shouldn't have to wait around for someone who has to decipher their feelings. Move on, and if he turns out that he wants you, he's probably on using you for second best because he couldn't have the one he wanted. So you are so better off sweetie. That right person is out there for you somewhere, just keep those legs closed until then. Sleeping with them doesn't make things better, but worse. He's genuinely a good guy for not sleeping with you, he's just not the one for you. Good luck babe!

Valentine's day is a special day for a couple. If he wants to " think about it" maybe he is going to go out with the other girl he also has feelings for. Do you know who is this girl? DO you even know if he is not with her? I dont know much but if I was you I would find out, You cant be waiting for him for ever. Its been a long time and he needs to make up his mind or you move on. You deserve better.

Theres only so much time to wait before he loses his chance, be open with him and tell him. I am a shy person but I am also a open person when it coems to words.

Heseems like he wants you but doesn't want to commit to anything. Or he has someone on the side he is testing things out with. Ask him why its taking so long.

It can either hurt you or help you. Hurt you by him getting defensive.... if that happens hes probably have another girl ont he side. It can help you by revealing a lot about him.

THIS one is easy. If he has to think about being your valentine than he is not for you. IT is going no where at this time. Keep your options open, go on dates with other guys. If he truly is interested he will not want you to do this. It will make him jealous and he will want you more. Dont be readily available for this guy at all.
I am sure you dont like being in a competition with an other girl. LET this guy go.

Tell him you can't wait indefinitely - he has to make a decision sooner or later if he is willing to commit to you or not. If he can't offer you some sort of real relationship after knowing you all this time, then you have to move on.
