Yeah, you have the riddle all wrong.
It's FOUR legs in the morning (baby) two legs in the afternoon (young) and three at night (when you're old and you use a cane)

It's a person. Young, they can't walk, older they stand on two legs, and old they need help from a cane (three legs).
