you can chew sugar free gum but alot of people chew any kind and it does not hurt them

I chew it and I have braces, I don't really care to chew like bubble gum though because it gets all stuck in my braces even more then chewing gum.

in terms of being "able to chew gum"? yes. in terms of whether you should, then no. you should still not chew gum, whether it's sugar free or not. the gum can pull on your brackets and they can break. also, the sugar can dissolve the bonding underneath the brackets. i've seen it happen all too often. i would highly recommend that you refrain from chewing gum during your treatment.

Yes you can and I did but the only problem is some times it may stick in to your braces.

they tell u not to, but it is okay, nothing happens it can get stuck in ur braces but that rarely happens
