I like watching the waves. I live in Brighton, South coast UK. Waves seem to wash any worries away with them. What about you?

I'm really spoilt for choice as I live in Cumbria. At the southern end of the Lake District. Sometimes I like to go to one of the beaches near us and watch the waves but mostly I go up on the fells! It's so quiet and really beautiful that I soon feel better and at peace!

I myself love Brighton but have yet to see the waves, the water is always absolutely still when i have been there.
My favourite spot in Summer is in the forest, i take my dogs and sit under a massive old oak tree and just sit and think. I relax and my dogs love it as well.

I jump in my car and drive where I feel I will get some peace. This could be the docks or a park here in Preston, It just depends what mood I am in. Sometimes I just disappear into a book and ignore everyone.

Yes, and I'm not joking, but I go to my personal toilet. I live in Japan and in Japan, the toilets are in their own little room. With kids running around all the time, that is the only place where I can get peace and quiet.
