They have been clinically proven to work, but the results vary from person to person. Some people get a significant whitening effect, while others will get a much subtler effect. They will not work on certain types of stains (tetracycline, for example). The problem that many people have is that the strips make the teeth quite sensitive and painful, so people often stop using them before the recommended time period.

I love the stuff. I also used the tray with the bleaching agents that you buy at the pharmacy. My girlfriend payed 300$ to get her teeth whitened before her wedding and you couldn't tell the difference between my 25$ whitening and hers.

They work great. The only problem is they dont cover all of your teeth. So if you have a wide smile you may notice that your molars are a different color than the rest of your teeth.

I got some, just the store brand and used them only two days (before I realized I was pregnant, so I stopped) but i noticed a difference.
They are really weird though and you need to use them in the am and pm, but you can't talk while you have them in, so make sure you can devote that time to it before you spend the money

Yes they do, however take precautions about overuse as some can damage the outer structure of the teeth.

They DO make your teeth whiter. However, I am not aware of any serious effects. I think if you use them carefully with caution you should be fine and will definitely have whiter teeth. My whole family uses them and none of us have had any problems.

I was instructed by my dentist NOT to get them. He said they do MORE harm than good so I have never bought them.
