I bought a boneless stuffed pork chop at the grocery store,
iIt weighs .22 kg (.48lb).
How do I cook it?

Do I fry it?

Do I bake it? What temperature?

Do I fry it (brown it) then bake it?

How long should it cook for?

THANK YOU
:)

I would brown it then put in a 325F oven for about 10-15 minutes.

pork is normally about 25/lb
an hour would give you dried out charcoal!

Either way...pork can be served mid-rare and you will not get sick.A dry cut like a chop will turn into shoe leather and it will taste about as good if you cook it too long.It should still be JUICY when you take it out!

If there is a bone,it make take up to 45 minutes,if it is boneless and you fry it for a couple minutes on each side,it should take no time in the oven.

Fry it for a minute or two on each side till golden and then bake in a 375-400 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes (check to make sure stuffing is HOT inside and juices are clear).

Grill the pork chops, covered, over indirect medium heat for 15-18 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer inserted in the stuffing reads 160 degrees.

Place in a shallow baking dish and bake pork chops at 350° for about 1 hour. Cover with foil and cook 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until pork chops are done.

Try this recipe...So good!

* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 6 boneless pork chops
* 3 tablespoons honey
* 1/2 cup water
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
* 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and brown the pork chops about 5 minutes on each side. Transfer to a baking dish.
3. In a bowl, mix the honey, water, soy sauce, onion, ginger, and pepper. Pour over the pork chops in the baking dish.
4. Bake pork chops 1 hour in the preheated oven, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

Whatever you do, test the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. If it is the regular kind, it should have a marking for pork. If not or it's the instant read type, the package will indicate what temp pork needs.

All the above are great...

You can also wait for tomorrow before heading out the door to work, throw it in a crock pot or slow cooker on low, dump a can of cream of mushroom soup over it with one can of water and let it cook till supper time. No need to brown and season only if you desire some special taste like garlic or onions, salt & pepper.

Serve over mashed taters !!!

350 farenheit for about 25 minutes should do you nicely.

Enjoy.
