I know it sounds like a stupid question but I have issues with being nude around a whole bunch of men while I shower. Any advice on this?

Take my word for it. When you run 80 guys through the showers in 8 minutes there isn't a lot of time for anything but getting clean and getting the h*ll out during your alloted 90 seconds. Plus, it's like a steam bath, visibility about 2 feet.

Yes you do have to shower with the other enlistees in the same squadron as yourself.

Not to worry you will soon get over it as you will become good friends.

I think they have gotten it down to no more than about 6 per room if that many, so it will not be an entire mob as long ago.

If that is your only concern you will be alright and come out of boot camp in good condition after meeting lots and lots of new friends.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

properly, its no longer meant to be elementary. the entire foundation of this technique is to totally tear you down, then construct you lower back up. Mentally and emotionally, it would properly be very complicated for some people. bodily speaking, you'd be engaged on the from the day you step in. operating, pushups, situps..... you'll be able to do a particular quantity of them in a particular era of time to bypass. i have in my view generic 2 people interior the stunning 3 years which have enlisted interior the USAF. One effectively achieved (my husband who became 26.5) and the different did not make it previous week 2 (my brother-in-regulation who became 21). He couldn't take it and broke down. the militia isn't for all and sundry. it is all i am going to extremely say.

Yes, you shower with other recruits. You get very little time to shower, though, and it's not really a big deal, or so I've heard. Everybody's just trying to get clean before time's up, so it's not like in high school gym.

You bet. It is part of the training to make you a lot more sure of yourself and to retrain you in the military way. Even women get to experience the group shower. They do fortunately separate the sexes.

Your sitting there trying to crap and some yahoo is standing almost right next to you with his junk swinging in the wind taking a leak. It's like a warm ocean breeze if ya know what I mean. Have fun

I was in basic training at Lackland AFB for the AF in 1988. At that time we did... unless it has changed.
You won't have time to stare, believe me. You get in, do your business, and get out.
