My mom ordered me Murad and let me just say I've tried tons of products including ProActiv. Well anyway I decided to do researh on it and it had a lot of good and bad reviews. I'm worried because their is a purging process and the bad reviewers said that there skin just got 100% worse. I couldn't bare that especially being in high school. Please let me know if you have tried Murad and if you think I should try it. Thanks

I assume this is for acne. I had severe acne and tried everything. I cannot say that I have tried Murad. The one thing that I tried that worked after 5 years of trying different combinations was Accutane. It is MANDATORY that you take birth control while you are on it, and depending on the dose you take, it can make things a little worse at first then it will get better. My face is totally clear now!! You would not believe it. Also you have to take a pregnancy test every month, b/c you cannot get pregnant while on this medicine. Ask a dermatologist about it, SERIOUSLY, it works!!!

I love murad products. proactiv products are not very good for people with sensitive skin. so I have tried the murad acne line which works great. but I also use it along with my dermatlogist prescribed medicine and topical gel. I love their acne body wash. because I work out at the gym a lot, I get back acne and that works really well. And I really haven't broken out too terribly except from stress at work.

I say go for it!

i tried it and nothing happened. seriously proactive doesnt work either. just use an antibacterial soap and a moisterizer and once a week put egg whites on your facce for 20 min. and wash off.
