A great activity would be having the kids trying to untangle themselves. What you do is have the kids stand in a circle with their backs to the the circle. Have them close their eyes and just reach in the circle and grab a hand with their left hand. Then repeat with the right hand. Then let them open their eyes and figure out how to get themselves standing in a circle facing the inside of the circle. The fun comes here... Under no circumstances are they to let go of the hands. This is hilarious if you are playing or watching.
Another good activity would be to blow up ballons. Have the kids stand back to back and lock arms. Place the balloon between their backs and have them attempt to pop the balloon. It is possible to do. Once again, it is hilarious to watch the kids try and pop the balloon without letting go of their partner.

Have them decorate sugar cookies. You can get them pre-made and really cheap at Albertsons or Safeway. Buy sprinkles and cheap frosting and you are in business!!!
If it is a girls party, put a candy stick (available at Micheals) on a ball of cookie dough before you cook them to make cookie lollipops. This works well with boys, too.
Good Luck!!

campout in the woods next to a lake - catch and cook fish, sleeping bags, tents, fire, toasted marshmellows, hot chocolate and ghost stories around the fire. if youre not near a wood, the backyard should work.
