I live in the US but I think I know your problem. Your antenna or satellite outside is not bolted on tight enough and the wind is moving it causing loss of signal. You have to tighten it or fiind some way to keep it from moving so much.

I live near the city centre of Aberdeen and i can't pick up Northsound one whatsoever (local radio station!). Very annoying. I'm not even going to bother getting a digital box thing as the signal here seems to be really bad for some reason. Seems to be better when it's wet weather - can even pick up some dodgy porn thing from Norway, lol. Something to do with atmospheric conditions and signals being able to travel better in wet weather. The bus service is rubbish too.

Apart from the actual signal being blocked or distorted by bad weather conditions your actual aerial is buffeted around by the wind & gets wet or snow covered. This makes it more difficult for the aerial to pick up the signal. Hope this answers your question for you

When the weather gets worse, clouds and precipitation block the TV signal from getting to you. You may just have to get a better antenna, satellite, or cable.
