First of all, WHY DID YOU DELETE THE WINDOWS REGISTRY? If you delete the registry, then Windows won't even START, so to save the files, plug the hard drive into another computer, and drag all your files off of it. Then, format the hard drive and stick it back into its original computer. Now you're ready to reinstall Windows. Go buy a Windows CD (I'd go to COMPUSA to get Windows Vista, they are already selling it, but see if your computer meets the minimum specs.). Install, and enjoy! Wait...How can you post this if you can't use your computer?

Oy. You are kind of stuck on that one. Best bet would be to spend the money on a repair disk or a new version of Windows (Vista comes out tonight - I think).
Never delete anything in the registry unless you absolutely know what you are doing.
