Brown 1 lb hamburg and drain well. Then cook half a box of rotini pasta until done then drain. Mix those two together with 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup water, 3/4 cup ketchup, 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 tsp seasoning salt and 1/4 cup diced green pepper. Combine and put into a casserole dish then bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Start thawing it in the fridge NOW on a platter. Follow this recipe and you should have a great turkey: Perfect Roast Turkey 1 fresh turkey (12 pounds) Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1 large bunch of fresh thyme 1 lemon, halved 3 Spanish onions 1 head garlic, halved crosswise 4 tablespoons butter (1/2 stick), melted 1/2 cup good olive oil 8 carrots, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks 10 red new potatoes, halved 3 heads fennel, fronds removed, cut into wedges through the core Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Take the giblets out of the turkey and wash the turkey inside and out. Remove any excess fat and leftover pinfeathers and pat the outside dry. Place the turkey in a large roasting pan. Liberally salt and pepper the inside of the turkey cavity. Stuff the cavity with the thyme, lemon, one of the onions (quartered), and the garlic. Brush the outside of the turkey with the butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Tie the legs together with string and tuck the wing tips under the body of the turkey. Peel and slice the remaining onions, toss them with 1/4 cup olive oil, and scatter them around the turkey. Roast the turkey for 1 hour. Toss the carrots, potatoes, and fennel with 1/4 cup olive oil and add to the roasting pan. Continue to roast for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the juices run clear when you cut between the leg and the thigh. Remove the turkey to a cutting board and cover with aluminum foil; let rest for 20 minutes. Stir the vegetables and return the pan to the oven. Continue to cook the vegetables while the turkey rests. Slice the turkey and serve on a platter with the roasted vegetables. Serves 8. --Ina Garten

What about Sheppard's pie? Cook your ground beef and add some seasoning and frozen corn or peas and carrots. Layer in a baking dish. Cover with mashed potatoes (I use instant cause it's quick) Cover with cut up chunks of Velveeta cheese and bake in the oven for about 30-40 mins on 350. Or until your cheese is nice and melted or you have a little crust.

Mexi Mac...My family loves it

Make Mac and cheese according to box directions, but only cook the noodles about half way. Brown hamburger and add a packet of taco seasoning. Add the hamburger to the mac. Add a can of corn to the mac and a jar of salsa (the small ones, not sure what the size is) mix it up and enjoy. So easy and so tasty!

In Germany we made "Frikadellen". served with mashed potatoes and fried onion. Or when they are cold, slice them on a sandwich, spread with mustard.

Ingredients:
1 Brötchen (roll) or you may substitute it with 2 slices of white bread
2 onions
1 pound of hamburger meat
1 egg
salt, pepper, paprika and mustard to taste
2 ounces of fat or oil
Directions:
Soak the roll or bread in cold water. Peel the onion and dice it fine. Squeeze out the bread and add it along with the onion to the hamburger meat. Add the egg, season with the spices and the mustard to taste. With wet hands form meat patties, a little thicker than Hamburgers. Heat the oil or fat and fry the meat patties from both sides, about 10 minutes or until meat is done.
Variation:
I cut bacon in cubes, fry them and add it to the meat mixture.

Stuffed peppers. Mix cooked hamburger, cooked rice, sauted onions, tomato sauce. Bake for 30 minutes or so. Add some cheese. Throw some Mexican seasonings. Add parmesan. Fix them up anyway you want it.

Here is something my mom used to make for us kids on "special " Nights. It's easy and fun for everyone.
Simply make this patties of your hamburger. place on slice of pineapple between two patties and seal the edges. Pan fry the meat until done, about 5 minutes per side and serve with your favorite side dish. I know it sounds strange but the flavor is delightful. Good Luck

Can add numerous things to the hamburger before rolling into balls such as garlic, onions, peppers, any chopped veggie, salt & pepper.

What is the same old stuff you mention? Have you ever tried the old military SOS? This is one of my favorites over crispy toast. Try it, you'll like it. If you don't know what SOS is, it is ground beef in a salty cream sauce.
