If these efforts show some sign of positive response, then make an excuse to speak to her.
Nothing vernture, nothing gain. And if it comes to nothing, well at least you've had the experience of doing it and you can use that in the future with someone else.

lnstead of having her notice you from a distance, why don't you just go up to her and ask her out? Sometimes the direct approach is better than staying in the shadows. lf you are a shy one then maybe send her something special and invite her out for coffee or a drink under a secret admirer type way. Some times your match is right under your nose and you if you wait too long some one else will step in.
