Yes mine were 20$ for a 1 hour lesson, once a week (we payed 80$ a month) but they were WELL WORTH IT! I would advice though that only take lessons if you're really serious about learning. And if you aren't enjoying the lessons or the teacher than I would advice you to switch teachers.

The problem with one to one guitar lessons is that if you have learnt something quickly, you have to wait until your next lesson to move forward. With an online course, you can progress at your own pace. There are many online courses but I found this one useful: http://beginnerguitarlessonsmadeeasy.com

between $10-15 a half hour is a pretty reasonable price.
