Yup, out in Cali they don't judge distance by miles but by time to get there. Probably don't even know what an odometer is, do you?

25 minutes in a car would be about 1 hour 15 min by bike. Maybe a little more or less depending on the hill situation!

With traffic and all count about 12 miles per hour. If you take that Santa Ana River you can probably go 20 miles per hour without any problem. However cycling to the coast agains the wind is a lot harder than going up and away with the wind pushing you.

OK a quick check states that it is around 23.3 miles.
An average fit rider taking their time should knock that off in less than two hours (plus stops). A good rider less than an hour and a half. A really good rider less than an hour
