Well dear you know the saying live and let learn. Your not stupid, maybe naive, but aren't we all. You have to find out what is going on inside you that is allowing these people to hurt you and understand why. When you find out within yourself you will have clarity and will be able to get rid of people that hurt you. Don't try to figure out those people. Sometimes we also cause are own hurt due to careless thinking...but with time we understand what we did wrong and grow from it.
I hope I've helped you =D

NOT STUPID!!!
She just needs to build some confidence and really learn from her mistakes.
If you touch fire you will get burned - lesson here: don't touch the fire.
Depending on what kind of 'hurt' you're talking about I believe most people deserve a second chance but if, by her own moral standards it's something that can't be forgiven, well, I wouldn't be giving any second chances in that case.

I think that a girl that always gives people a second chance has a big heart, but needs to learn who to give second chances to. It depends on how we're hurt, but I think everybody deserves a second chance just not a third or a fourth.

She's being a bit naive. People aren't all good and sweet. She has to learn from her mistakes at some point. Sounds like she scared of being alone if she keeps giving ungrateful people multiple chances to screw her over.

You need to be strong. Ask yourself questions before you give someone another chance. Make it clear that this is their second chance and if they hurt you again you will not want them in your life.

They deserve a second chance but eventually the chances have to stop...if its just opening up the same wounds again and again then its really not worth it if your just hurting yourself. I kno it might seem like you cant live w/o him but trust me you will move on and find someone better. No one can make the choice for you tho...no matter what answers you get on here you really gotta make the choice yourself. ive been through the same thing and seen friends go through it and it hurts me to see them get hurt again and again. Just make sure you wont regret your choice.

She's not exactly stupid..She's too kind. I used to be that way until I got tired of everyone I knew taking advantage of me and treating me like total sh*t. So I finally turned into a total a*shole. I don't as many friends anymore, but the ones I do have are real friends. Hopefully one day she'll learn that se can't keep being nice and trusting to everyone. If not, I feel real sorry for her.

there is such a thing as a second chance. But a third and a forth is a sign of our own insecurities. There comes a time when we must stand up for ourselves and take back our own power. We cannot be walked on. And women especially have to fight harder for their respect (which they completely deserve!) This girl ou are refering to is not stupid, but rather does not have enough confidence in herself.

I think that all people deserve another chance but only one. no more. that is my theory. if you love the person then you dont want to let them go. put youself in the guys place or girls that is doing the hurting but then he or she figures out that they did wrong.

A second chance to hurt us? If they hurt us unintentionally, perhaps. if they did so intentionally, never!
