first ask yourself this.why would a 34 yr old be interested in a 16 yr old. I'll tell you why, pervert pervert. or he could be a kidnapper. why on earth would you even consider it. to even ask this question is absurd. go get some parenting tips. and take your daughter with you.///

I really think you need to sit down and be honest with youself here and ask yourself some hard questions. With you asking this, I assume that you feel uncomfortable with this whole situation.
In most states its illegal for someone who is Under 18 to be involved with someone who is Over 18. There are alot of good reasons for this!! At 16, they are not adults, even though they may feel like they know everything! But you should know as a adult that they do Not!
Do the right thing here, stop this relationship in its tracks. You are the parent. Do Not let a 34 year old man take advantage of your child! She maybe angry at first but in time she will see that you loved her enough to make sure she is safe, and enjoys being a teenager (your child) instead of ending up pregnant and alone with a man that is taking advantage of her.
Start by getting her into see a counselor even if its a school one. Put schooling as number one priority!! Sit down with this man and your daughter, tell them if they really love each other they can see each other when she is 18!! Stick to it. Dont allow him around and put alot of space between him and your daughter. good luck.

Wow, where to start? Um have you ever had dcfs called on you? Cause if not someone needs to. That is sick, what kind of a parent are you? Before you ask a stupid question like that think about it for a minute. Think about how it is illegal for that relationship to even be, think about how you are setting your child up for some major issues in the future, think about how you should get yourself your daughter and her bf into some kind of therapy: for you being sick for letting your daughter even be around a 34 year old man, your daughter for thinking it is OK to subject herself to a relationship of this sort where obviously there is nothing more than than sex, and then the dude for even wanting a 16 year old cause that is sick, one on the maturity level and two that he could have a child her age, that is just sick, and seriously you should be ashamed.

I think you're asking the wrong question. You should be asking if your 16 y/o daughter should be going out with a 34 y/o in the first place. And the answer to both questions is NO, but not just no, HELL NO.

Omg! You let your daughter have a 34 year old boyfriend? Thats not right. DO NOT let her go, he's more then twice her age! He could easily pressure her into doing things she dosen't want to.
