OKay, so I like this boys Jake. He told Mark he wasnt interested in me. But he tol my friends mel and anna that he totally likes me. I have no idea what to do. He says to me he likes me alot. But he doesnt ask me out. He also says he cares about me a lot. UGH. What should I do?

You need to tell him to stop playing these games, tell him that you dont have time for it. But by the sounds of it, you seem young, but..if he likes you, he will tell you to your face.

A boy will probably not admit to a male friend that he likes a girl but he'll feel freer to admit his feelings to girls. Remember boys like to look tough and cool, and some guys think caring about a girl isn't cool.
Maybe he doesn't ask you out because he has no money, or he can't think of what to do, or his parents won't let him date. How about you ask him out?

That's the way boys act. Boys thinks it is a masculine thing. They don't like to show any weakness among other boys. And they think by admitting they like a girl it shows weakness. Besides if he says he likes you then ignore Mark.

He probably acted a ll macho around his guy friend and around your friends that he did perhaps to see what they would say..If he says he likes you a lot, give him time, dont get all desperate that makes you look bad and be taken on as easy. Sooner or later he will come along if not, there will be another guy.

It sounds like hes emabarrased to admit it around his friends which isnt good. If he wont admit that then how is he gonna bring you around his friends and it not be different if you guys are alone. If you dont think thats the case then me a woMAN and ask him out!

This guy sounds like a total wuss. Why don't you just go up to him and ask him DO YOU LIKE ME? If he says yes then say.....okay then lets have lunch together today....just you and me no friends. Just the 2 of us. Then you'll find out. Don't chicken out I dare you to it. You get the truth that way.

Ok so what i would do if i were you is just start "hitting" on another guy and if Jake really likes you he will get jealous and then hopefully he will ask you out... or you could just ask him out.

You have two choices:
Do nothing. If he likes you he will ask you out, eventually.
Ask him out. The worst that can happen is that he will say no. Then you will know for sure, get over it and move on.

ok the reason why he told Mark that is because guys have rules 1. don't share feelings. what you do is let him know you are interested without coming out and saying it. then hang out with him and his guys. show him that you are cool to hang out with and then go out with just him one night. just be yourself and don't wig out about anything. don't try to be anyhting cept who you are and don't get all emotional. save that for after you and him have been dating for a while.

tell him to ask u out. maybe as a joke. if ur talking to him and he says he cares about u then just say well when r u gonna ask me out in a joking kind of way
