I bought a Hitachi 51"er and it is HD ready, no build in tuner, I want HD picture from my xbox 360, I will get that right?

Isnt the HD Tuner to get like HD signals for cable, to get like ESPN HD and stuff? I dont care about TV, I just want my gaming to be in HD./

Yes, just use the component cables the xbox 360 comes with. Gaming will be in HD.

HD-ready just means it has no HD tuner- your XBox should still work fine on it. Connect it via either HDMI or component cabling.

yes your gaming will be hd I had the same question when I bought my tv good choice on the 360 call of duty 3 rocks
