My first kiss was awkward but neither myself nor my boyfriend at the time knew what we were doing. I remember a lot of saliva and teeth and for a while after that, I didn't want to kiss anyone else for fear it'd be equally as horrifying.
Hopefully your first kiss is a better experience.

some people's first kiss is amazing, some it's just ok, and for some they hate it... it depends on the person you are kissing mostly. either way, just try to relax and don't worry about being bad at it. most people don't want to hear it, but you only get better with practice.
