There a lot of really good shampoo's that are especially for oily hair, they work without drying your hair out.
No, regarding the blow dryer question. I know a lot of people who blow dry everyday and have beautiful hair.
You might want to have your ends trimmed on a regular bases just to cut down on the split ends caused by blow drying. These should be fairly minimal considering you have oily hair.

I Blow dry my hair all the time and its very healthy. Ive been using Loreal Paris Studioline Hot Straight Heat-Activated Straightening Cream for years now though. You just gotta put it on ur hair while its still wet and then blow dry it. Also let your hair air dry for a little bit before blow drying it. That way you dont have to use the hair dryer for so long. Hope this helps :)

You can't blow dry it that much because that amount of heat would damage it. I don't think it will make your hair less oily, but most people want oils in their hair anyway. Why do you just have to be different?

any blowdrying can damage your hair. Luckily there are shampoos that don't require every day or every time use that help prevent damage. also keep in mind, the actual temperature will affect the damage done also, so try to keep that dryer far enough away so that you don't feel the extreme heat on your scalp. but definitely check into the shampoos.

It looks like everyone else has given you some good advice so my advice is to follow their advice. If you add details I would like to know if that honey thing worked or if it was just a pain in the butt.
