thay say for a man to have a one night stand is differant to a women,because a man can walk away ,and have no feelings,but a women has to have feelings to have that one night stand . is this true

Women are more emotional creatures and therefore to have a one night stand she would have had some kind a feeling toward that person. A guy will drop his pants... do the deed and move on. Guys don't form attachments that easily. When a woman has a one night stand, she may have thought about first (not in all cases), there are those although few, women who are even worse than the guys; but to answer your question, yes, i think a woman has to have some kind of romantic feeling toward that person she's having the one night stand with.

No it's not true, women can have one night stands without it meaning anything too. In both sexes' cases there still has to be some kind of attraction so neither sex can claim that for the other to have a one night stand is somehow harder to forgive. It's equally hard for anyone to forgive a partner for having a one-night stand with someone else - the difference is more likely to be in the way each sex shows their feelings, rather than in the actual feelings themselves.

If it's happened and the long-term relationship is considered as worth saving I would just get on with it whether males or females were involved. Social science tells us that men are less bothered, but do people consider the views of social science in their day to day lives? I wouldn't and I have numerous qualifications in social science. At the end of the day - who knows? I always think of the cassette (Yes - 1984 cassette!) produced by the Spare Tyre womens theatre group in which one of of the lyrics read as "The bomb could drop and blow us all sky high and I'm wondering whether to sleep with this guy". I sometimes wonder how faithful long-term partners are, and how much all of us really care. There are other things in our lives.

No it is not. Men feel inferior on learning that their girlfriend has had a fling. When the shoe is on the other foot however, their ego snowballs. If my girlfriend had a one night stand, I would forgive her, her one mistake. I would expert the same in return.

but both sexes can have casual sex
but eventually the women will usually develope feelings first.. or stronger ones

yes i think so and its more the point that men have this male pride thing getting in the way of their forgivness and about 20 mates calling him a so and so if he takes you back!

NO its not but men want to be in control so if a woman cheats on a cheater...he won't forgive her thats because of his pride...and she is out of his control...not because hurting his feelings ..no because hurting his pride....
