I've heard that the carbonation is awful for your teeth and stomach, but I drink flavored seltzer like it's my job and haven't had any terrible effects yet.
The sugar, on the other hand is another story. No one needs to be drinking that many empty calories and refined carbs.

Assuming you don't compensate by eating other stuff, I'd say 10 pounds. You might see a difference in a week, but don't expect to lose as much in week 2 etc. It would be useful to eat a lot more low calorie densitry food, such as non-starchy vegetables. Avoid white potatoes, white rice, refined flour pasta. Avoid very sweet fruit.

It terribly unhealthy if you drink it everytime and everyday. It okay to have a coke know and then.

It really has no nutritional value and believe it or not, before any carbonation has been added to the solution, it has to be transported in hazardous materials trucks. It's highly corrosive!!! I don't really want to drink that.

yes it's unhealthy. in 500ml of coke there are 11 spoons of sugar!! what with all the acids they add, it also affects the enamel of the teeth.

carbonated drinks are not that great for you since they do weaken your bones. So if your family has a history of osteoporosis, I would suggest staying away from them as much as possible

It's not the fizz that's bad, it's high fructose corn syrup they use to sweeten it that is really bad.
