If you and your boyfriend have parents that speak a different language and you want to plan a date and it's impossible to get through on the phone 'cause everytime his dad answers and he says Bueno? I don't know it just seems impossible to talk to him or plan anything to do as a date. I need help!!!!

You need to tell the parents in each of there languages that a word or word form the other person language means that they are looking to talk to the other.

If you really like the person, step up and learn the pleasantries of their language -- it's quite impressive, in addition to the parents will love you, because you show respect.

put a loud speaker on your roof! Either that or tell the guy you like that if he does'nt pick up the phone everytime that you'll talk dirty to that person

just ask for the bf by name and the dad should give it to him. i say "hola" and i'm not hispanic at all. bueno is a common greeting for hispanic people, if you just ask for your bf by name you should be ok after that

convince him to get a cell phone or learn a little bit in spanish so you know what to say to his dad when he answers the phone.

try asking him out in person if he can if he cant or you are too shy in front of people just tell him you will call at a certain time so he will be expecting a call
