I hope people realize that God is just.
"12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." I'm glad I found this way that doesn't just seem right, it IS right!! Jesus is the way! I think atheists must be bad drivers too! I mean you put up a huge billboard for them saying there is danger ahead that is sure destruction (like Bridge Out) if they persist on traveling that broad road and they are like "I don't see any problem so it can't be true so just move over you crazy nut." I'm being funny about it but it's really sad. Especially when the detour signs leading away from destrucion and to the straight and narrow road are also plain to see in sight for everyone to read and it leads to life everlasting.
I thought of these words to the hymn after reading this question; http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuSrB1NYrCT.HM0NIrA5z4bd7BR.?qid=20070125101421AAfUdpw
If anyone can find the words to that hymn, I would like to have them

Paul Johns and bpbjess; You have to gain the knowledge FROM personal experience and try God out to prove He is true for yourself. Nobody can do that for you. And, if you wait too late, there will not be a chance to repent or believe. Christians have no evil ulterior motives to cause others to be decieved. That spirit is of the anti-Christ. I can discern it usually so that doesn't make me conceited to know that I know that I know that Jesus is real and living in my heart. Don't you people have any experiences with real Christians in your lives?? I never realized how blessed I was. I feel like if I had not been raised to know the truth and then tried God for myself, I would likely be asking and demanding all the same things you folks do. I can already tell you, God passes all the most rigorous tests. I have never told the half of it what I've seen Him do.

God demands justice or payment for sin. Jesus answered, in our place, God's demand. Jesus is our mercy.

I understand where you are coming from, being all about jesus and such, but do you not think that we athiests think the same thing about YOU? And what about Islamic people? or Jewish people? Are they seeing the same billboard?
I think it is a little concieted to think that there is only one way for everything to be done and you have the right way.
I believe in science, but if someone could prove to me, beyond a doubt that Jesus is a saviour and there is a god, I would switch over in a second.
on the other hand, if all of us "heathens" will be left behind when the rapture comes, we will learn then, won't we? I will make a deal with all you Christians. If the rapture comes and I am left behind, I will become a Christian right then and there.

Alot of times Christians feel that it is their absolute responsibility to convince someone to accept Christ. Plant a seed where appropriate if given the opportunity. But remember that you are not the one who makes that seed grow. Thats Gods job, and it may just be that it isn't time for that person yet. I know it can be frustrating, but theres something else you need to understand directly from the Biblical manuscripts. If someone simply does not want to bother hearing it, let it go. It is written that in the end times, the spirit of Elijah will come to turn the heart of man back to their fathers. thats plural. And its plural because if you are a person who knows your shepherd, you will be drawn to Him.
But if not, you may be of a different father. This earth age is a great plan for weeding out who's who. Don't be too upset if you cannot get through to someone. Its like when Jesus spoke to the high priests at the synagogue, and Jesus told them: You are of your father, the devil, and the lusts of your father, ye will do.
Let the plan unfold - and remember that we are going in to the eternity. Do you want a repeat of this nonsense? I don't, and neither does God. So if someone does not have ears to hear and eyes to see, there just may be a reason for that. Brush the dirt off of your shoes, and move on.

Did you ever watch the old Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons? Bugs Bunny? Do they not, in an attempt to cause harm to an "enemy", make their own signs, such as "Bridge Out", "Detour", and "Free Leomande, This Way --->" ? I'm not an atheist, I'm an agnostic. I'm not going this way OR that way. Rather, I'm taking the time to look BEHIND the billboard to see if someone is there with a rockt launcher, and trying to investigate who put the billboard there in the first place.
Even if the original bible was passed down directly from God himself, it has been translated into MANY different languages before it was translated to English. It was translated by man, and as we know, men make mistakes.

I think everybody will know the truth before the end and have a chance to accept it. Don't you believe those who endure the apocalypse will have a chance? I'm pretty sure that's a standard belief in Christianity.

Basically, man chooses a path they they think is right, and looks like the right path to take in spite of all the obvious signs that the path he is on is going to lead to his demise, and he ultimately meets his demise.
Its like the United States today. We have embraced this politically correct monster, and have ourselves all caught up in the civil rights, and tolerance nonsense to a fault. Instead of closing our borders, expelling illegal aliens, upholding the law, upholding and teaching good behavior and morals, eliminating the enemies that attacks us after all diplomatic avenues failed, we continue to go blindly along trying to appease those who say to our faces they will indeed kill us, allow people to break our laws and forbid anyone to act or say anything to correct the problem out of fear of offending them, and allow our children to be indoctrinated by the media and special interest groups like gay rights groups all in the name of tolerance. These people think this is the way, this is good. It is not. We should protect ourselves first, we should enforce our laws, and we should not have to tolerate that which is bad like homosexuality. So we are on the wrong path big time, but too many people think its the right path. This is going to lead to our demise, as a country and possibly as a race of beings.

are you saying that all people that don't think like you are wrong......a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience

And you honestly don't see any difference between something written in a book and a sign erected because of proven danger?
What's sad is people who refuse to accept that their way/belief is not the only way/belief.

I do not believe that there is a power greater than me that knows the way. You believe that there is a power greater than you that does. When I drive home, I'll drive my car. Next time you're in your car, you let him drive.
